The matrix system could be described minimalist. It consists of chromium plated or grey/white painted modular elements of various lengths , with a squared 20 x 20 mm section. Shelves, doors, backs and so on can be integrated into this simple, square or rectangular modular architecture using small hidden fitments. Despite the range of doors and glass , metal or methacrylate shelves in different colours and finish, this system maintains an elegantly simple appearance. This aesthetic and formal requirement has been in great demand in the home and work environment. Thanks to major design and production efforts , all the components have been simplified to the barest minimum, much in the style of Japanese aesthetics. In order to achieve this, a specific assembly joint has been developed which becomes a decorative element, in addition to rhythmically marking the structure. Chromium plated crosspieces and uprights make interlocking assembly possible, without screws.
